Procurement Manager – Estates | North-East | £45,000 - £55,000 | Perm | Hybrid

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in the North-East to recruit a Procurement Manager covering the Estates category on a permanent basis.

A strong background in construction/estates is essential.

This role offers a hybrid working policy; with the requirement to attend the office 2/3 days per week, with the others working from home.

Role:

• Reporting to Senior Procurement Manager   
• Managing 1 direct report – Assistant Procurement Manager
• Carrying out strategic, high-value and complex procurements   
• Lead the category and provide guidance to stakeholders
• Manage contracts and framework agreements within their portfolio of procurement projects

Individual:

• Comprehensive understanding of contract law and procurement regulations
• Public or Private Sector experience
• Bachelors degree in related subject or extensive experience in procurement
