Do you have experience as a Public Sector Procurement Officer delivering large projects? We have an amazing opportunity available working for one of London’s largest authorities as a Procurement Officer.

Role overview:
As Procurement Officer you will be responsible for category plans and delivering best value and efficient procurements of works, services and supplies for an asset group or delivery area in the London Trams team based in Croydon.
You would manage the procurement processes for competitive tendering, including supplier selection, pre-qualification, tendering and evaluation and contract award in accordance with the procurement plan, procedures and governance.

•              Location: 2-3 days East Croydon (CR0 1LF)  (Mondays & Wednesdays) /2 days WFH
•              Daily rate: £388.10 PAYE - £522.95 UMBRELLA
•              Contract length: 28/09/2024
•              Start: ASAP
Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
•                     Experience of public sector procurements
•                     Experience of managing end to end procurements to tight timescales
•                     Knowledge and experience of using e-tendering portals
•                     Experience in railway or construction environment (highly desirable)
•                     Experience of using SAP Ariba system (desirable)
•                     Stakeholder Management
•                     CIPS (full or part qualified)
