Finance and Procurement Officer required for our public sector client to work on a Hybrid basis - 1 day office required.
Client: Local Authority in South London
Job Title: Finance and Procurement Officer
Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour PAYE or £21.55 per hour UMB (Inside IR35)
Hours: 36 Hours a week (Mon-Fri) 1 day per week in the office
Duration 3 Month Contract (possible extension)
Solid experience of finance administration in a legal services environment. Good administrative all rounder, with intermediate technical proficiency in e.g. case management systems, Office 365.
Main task - To deal with a high volume invoice processing, following and setting up systems as necessary, updating the Head of Service regularly on any issues.
Involvement in other administrative and contract management tasks.
- Finance (processes & systems including reporting, budget transactions such as Purchase order processing, invoice processing, budget recharges and journal preparation)
- Admin (Legal services) including Case Management Systems - producing reports (Chargeable hours/Targets) and housekeeping/management reports from the Case Management System
- Contract monitoring/subscriptions management
Preferably Local Authority experience
