Opera North is England's national opera company in the north and a leading European arts organisation. Opera North Projects programmes its own venue, the Howard Assembly Room, with a wide range of activity from concerts and gigs to film and spoken word. The Projects team also creates site-specific and digital work as well as staged performances, and produces the acclaimed artist development programme, Resonance.
PRODUCER (Projects)
Committed to producing high quality work that informs, excites and entertains, Opera North is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Producer (Projects).
You will enjoy working closely with artists to develop creative and innovative projects, and have a track record of seeing arts projects through from inception to delivery. You will have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under pressure. As part of the Projects department you will be collaborative and connected, and thrive working in a dynamic team.
Salary: Up to £33,600 per annum, pro rata (£28,000 for 10 month contract)
