Speechmatics is on the hunt for a highly efficient and skilled Technical Product Marketing Contractor(up to 3 month, part-time, fixed term contract). Your role will be crucial in enhancing our engagement with technically savvy audiences, focusing primarily on operational excellence rather than strategic planning. We need a dynamic individual who excels in building robust relationships with key stakeholders and possesses a deep understanding of the personas we market to in the API world.
As our Technical Product Marketing Contractor, you'll be the driving force behind producing effective sales and customer enablement materials. These will be technical but more hands-on, including resources like battle cards, TCO documents, new feature launch kits, and essential information on benefits. Your expertise will be in crafting collateral that equips our sales teams to connect with a strategic technical audience effectively.
What you'll be doing:
- Deeply understanding our technical audiences, recognizing individual personas, their pain points, support needs, and buying intentions.
- Collaborating closely with sales & sales engineers to develop sales enablement materials, positioning Speechmatics as the preferred ASR vendor for prospects and customers.
- Coordinating with the product and brand teams to disseminate product launch information.
- Creating engaging, audience-specific content (videos, customer success stories, demos, whitepapers, presentations, how-to guides, etc.).
- Assisting in new product and feature launches by developing technical content (blogs, whitepapers, guides, videos, etc.).
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience in marketing to a technical and/or developer audience, with a passion for developing this area from the ground up for Speechmatics.
- A solid grasp of cloud computing market and technologies.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a focus on understanding and engaging with key stakeholders rather than setting overarching strategies.
- A collaborative nature, accustomed to working across marketing teams and the wider business to drive operational effectiveness.
- A self-motivated individual who can drive and influence day-to-day operations independently.
