The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing go-to-market strategies and content to reach and educate potential users, as well as equipping our customer-facing staff to communicate with their audience.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Educate customer facing teams (direct sales, channel partners, customer success and support teams) about the customer’s perception of value and how Outpost24 delivers it.
- Compare substitute solutions or competitive approaches to solving the same problems that Outpost24 does, clearly identifying differences.
- Stay on top of market and customer trends to better inform positioning, messaging, and new campaigns.
- Create compelling content for a variety of communication channels (digital, video, group presentation, or one-on-one interaction) that map into critical customer interactions.
- Lead industry analyst relations, working with Product Management to craft compelling pitches and briefings to influence Outpost24 position in market reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team during campaigns, events, and product launches to ensure customer messages are clearly articulated.
- Measure and report performance of communication to VP Marketing across a variety of customer interactions and evaluate approaches to improve engagement.
- Incorporate the Outpost24 core organizational values – Trust, Respect, Adaptability, and Commitment – into daily tasks and responsibilities.

Mandate
- Be the voice of customer - owns product positioning and messages that clearly describes value to a customer.
- Maintain message consistency – ensure product message are consistent across the company from sales, marketing, customer support to managed service.
- Sales enablement – enable sales with content and competitive insights to increase close rate.
Qualifications
- B2B Product Marketing experience, preferably in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
- Strong operational knowledge of B2B marketing and communication across multiple channels and with mixed media.
- Experience planning and executing marketing projects and go-to-market plans.
- Strong organization skills, self-starting, and able to adapt to new and unusual situations and changing conditions and priorities.
- Be creative and passionate about results.
- Possess good communication skills, including writing, interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and an eye for good design.
