About the job
We're looking to hire a Product Marketing Manager to join our Consumer Marketing team at our Manchester office. Due to growth, this role has been introduced to increase consumer engagement and conversation across a range of products on Autotrader.co.uk and grow our Product Marketing capabilities. You'll work on existing and new product's that we're looking to take out market, as a business that continuously evolves, we're always to expand our products and services.
Our website and app offer a comprehensive suite of products designed to cater to every aspect of car ownership. From our flagship search tool, which powers the UK’s largest car marketplace, to our valuation tool utilized by millions to determine the worth of their vehicles, to our latest innovations enabling consumers to streamline the car-buying process online.
The Product Marketing team is responsible for bringing these products to life through a clear proposition that appeals to consumers' needs. This role will work in collaboration with the senior Product Marketing Manager to work with a variety of teams across product, insights, marketing, design, and tech to bring the product to life throughout the website and our marketing channels. You’ll be leading on marketing propositions on a range of products, working on multiple workstreams at a time and collaborating with multiple Product Owners/Product Managers to help create the value proposition and messaging that will resonate with consumers.
Working in tandem with the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you'll drive marketing efforts for our consumer-facing product portfolio. Leveraging consumer research and data insights, you'll shape strategies to effectively engage our target audience.
Acting as a liaison between product teams and consumer marketing, you'll translate insights for impactful campaigns. Your role involves managing campaign execution with channel owners and stakeholders, ensuring cohesive messaging and alignment with objectives. Additionally, you'll support initiatives to boost user engagement and conversion rates, enhancing consumer lifetime value metrics. Taking charge of customer acquisition strategies, you'll fuel product growth through marketing initiatives and funnel optimisations, contributing to our ongoing success on AutoTrader.co.uk.

What we're looking for
- Previous Product Marketing experience, ideally leading on Product Marketing campaigns and knowledge of digital marketing and digital channels
- Ability to build a compelling value story, benefits and messaging approach that can work through product journeys
- It would be beneficial to have experience in e-commerce, conversion and product optimisation
- Understanding of how to optimise conversion rates or eagerness to learn and contribute in this area, such as basic knowledge of a/b testing, test & learn
- Deep understanding of B2C marketing with a focus on crafting propositions, communication messaging, and understanding consumer benefits/hooks
- You’ll be a natural people person and rapport builder with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams, including Product, Design, Tech, and Marketing, while being open to learning from and contributing to various disciplines
- Passion and desire to consistently challenge the status quo and look at broader marketing trends and methods
- A curious mind, you’ll be inquisitive and always thinking about the next step, demonstrating a desire to understand that product in order for it resonate with the consumer

We're offering a salary of between £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, and a flexible benefits package to support your health and well-being.
