Welcome to the Citation Group - where extraordinary opportunities await you. You may not have heard of us, but that's about to change. Here's what you need to know:

* Unleash Your Potential: We offer colleagues and clients opportunities that are truly unparalleled. We're not just interested in growth; we're passionate about it. And here's the best part - we don't achieve it through cost-cutting or bureaucracy. Instead, we're all about empowering, supporting, and innovating.
* No Politics, No Micro-Management: At Citation Group, we don't do office politics, and we certainly don't believe in micro-management. We focus on actions and delivery, and we're all about fostering a culture where every individual can thrive.
* Leaders, Not Empire Builders: We are leaders, not empire builders. We're deeply passionate about what we do, and it shows. In fact, our commitment to excellence has earned us a place on the list of the UK's Top 100 Best Companies to work for, not just once, but FIVE times!

This is an electrifying era to be part of our team. With a whopping 100,000+ clients across our group companies who trust and adore us, we're on a relentless quest for continuous expansion. Over the past three years alone, we've continued to acquire businesses that offer products and services our clients crave. And guess what? We're not hitting the brakes; our expansion journey charges on.

We're now cruising well into our third wave of private equity ownership with esteemed partners KKR and Hg Capital. And what does that mean? We're picking up speed, creating even more opportunities for personal and professional development for our incredible team members. If the thought of this gets your heart racing, you're exactly the kind of person we're seeking!

The Role
As a Group Product Owner, you'll step into a role that not only requires a passion for online client experiences but also offers the exhilarating opportunity to work with different brands within our diverse portfolio. Your curiosity about understanding client needs, coupled with a knack for technology innovation, will be the driving force behind our strategy to not just meet but exceed client expectations.

What makes this role even more exciting is that we're actively recruiting for several key positions across our group. Collaborating with your Product Lead, diverse market and subject matter experts, and our talented UX/UI team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the roadmaps for these brands. This dynamic environment challenges us to leverage technology to our advantage and continually standardise our approach, ensuring we stay ahead across the entire group.

* Define the goals and outcomes for the development projects you are working on in line with priorities set by your Product Lead.
* Liaise with key stakeholders including clients, internal business colleagues and development teams to ensure goals and objectives are well understood.
* Create suggestions for operational improvement of our software aligned to feedback and insights.
* Understand and create customer journey maps acting as the primary contact between the stakeholder and the various teams.
* Draw up comprehensive backlogs with agreed MVP delivery vs subsequent backlog items, considering all potential associated risks.
* Define solutions by working with the business and technical architects.
* Map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development.
* Juggle scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders.
* Manage the product and sprint backlogs, prioritising based on the overall strategy and business objectives set by the Product Lead.
* Oversee the development and the sprint cycles, evaluating progress at every stage.
* Conduct Retrospectives, Reviews and Sprint Planning, with guidance and support from our team of Agile Coaches.
* Gain agreement from senior management on the best method of introducing the recommendations to the wider business - addressing any uncertainty or concerns.
* Be the Subject Matter Expert for your product within the business.
* Ensure the product is fit for purpose and has ability to run 24/7, at scale.
* Accountable for producing and presenting analyses and reporting on product KPIs.
* Ability to write clear briefs, functional documentation and communicate with development teams.
* Key stakeholder in working party and UAT sessions approving feature changes and assuring quality standards through all stages of the product development.

What experience we are looking for
* Agile Methodology: Proven track record working effectively with Scrum teams, applying Agile methodologies to streamline project workflows.
* UX/UI Proficiency: Adept understanding of UX/UI principles, ensuring optimal user experiences in product development.
* Client-Centric Approach: Demonstrated commitment to meeting client needs, incorporating client perspectives into product development.
* Ownership and Prioritisation: Strong ability to take ownership, prioritize tasks effectively, and align project outcomes with strategic goals.
* Requirements Definition: Proficient in defining clear requirements and creating impactful user stories to guide the development process.
* Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in managing stakeholder relationships, fostering collaboration for shared goals.
* Positive Professionalism: A positive and professional demeanour contributing to a collaborative team environment.
