What you’ll be doing

The role of the production co-ordinator is to provide central production, administrative and practical support for a major new audio project. The role will report into the Producer and will be a shared resource for all project workstreams, including production and casting, marketing, additional content and liaison with the production partner.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all central production documentation including workflows, phasing and timelines (with oversight from the Producer and Head of Audio Development)
  • Set-up and management of technical infrastructure including tools, file delivery, storage and distribution across project teams
  • Daily production support for the production, additional content, and marketing workstreams including:
  • Call sheet/release form creation
  • Script administration
  • Production scheduling
  • Transport and accommodation booking
  • Production equipment hire and management
  • Talent management and documentation
  • Production resource management, with support on contracting and documentation
  • Diary support for the project workstream leads
  • Admin support for meeting and locations booking
  • Rights, license and clearance management
  • QA management
  • Day-to-day production budget management (alongside Producer)
  • Daily production updates

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a talented and collaborative Production Co-ordinator to join the Pottermore Publishing team and support our audio growth strategy. We are seeking an individual who is successfully providing co-ordination for a large-scale production and welcome experience from a film, tv, games or other digital media/publishing and content production environment.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of audio and video production processes
  • A meticulous eye for detail with a desire to set high standards and ensure those standards are met
  • Highly organised, able to multi-task and prioritise your workload as well as to implement workflow and process across the team
  • Resilient and calm under pressure, a proactive problem solver to the routine and non-routine problems that may come your way
  • Experience managing production and scheduling workflows and updating stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working with AV equipment for production
  • Experience managing budgets and maintaining finance reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

Some talent management experience would be beneficial an interest in Harry Potter is a bonus (mastermind-level knowledge not required)
