Film Production Coordinator

We are an education charity and creative school, working with London’s most vulnerable young people. These are students who have fallen through the cracks in the education system and with an innovative approach of holistic education, designed to develop students academically, socially, physically and emotionally, we help them to overcome their personal barriers and thrive in our nurturing community. Through a combination of bespoke group and 1:1 lessons, enriched with fun, creative projects and comprehensive wellbeing support, we provide students with a rounded and fulfilling educational experience. The Role

We use video content to educate and inspire our young people, to develop our staff and to spread our message throughout the community. As our Film Production Coordinator you will be responsible for creating engaging, entertaining and inspiring film content that promotes our school and showcases the creative talent within it. You will be directing, filming and editing lesson examples for multiple subjects across the curriculum, as well as creating video content for celebrations, assemblies and our End of Year Show.

Salary:

From £27,600 FTE per annum

Hours: 

• Monday - Wednesday  - 8.30am - 4.30pm
• Thursday - 8.30am - 6.00pm
• Friday - 8.30am - 4.00pm

You will need

Essential:

• Experience and training in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production
• A love of creativity
• Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software (Premiere Pro / DaVinci / Adobe Suite)
• Knowledge of copyright laws and permissions related to music, images, and other content used in videos
• Ability to handle logistics effectively and experience in administrative duties

Desirable:

• Experience of working in a charity or creative environment
• Graphic design and/or photography skills
