Production Coordinator

We have an exciting new opportunity for a friendly, proactive & organised individual to join a successful brand as part of their Product team. They are very successful and supply their fun, trend-driven products to a range of leading retailers worldwide.

This creative company designs and develops all its products from scratch, as Production Coordinator your role will be to ensure products are being made by the most suitable factories, the best possible materials are being used, artwork and samples are approved, and everything is manufactured on brief and to agreed timescales.

This is a really exciting role for someone with a love of product looking to work with great team and business.

Duties for this Production Coordinator position include:

• Creating the critical path for bespoke orders, ensuring key dates are met
• Working collaboratively with both internal teams & factories ensuring to aid the smooth running of production, updating all parties as needed
• Raising purchase orders with factories and suppliers, building strong working relationships
• Approving artwork before submission to factories
• Checking pe-production samples for accuracy and quality, ensuring any amendments are made as required
• Request barcodes, product codes and all other relevant information required
• Working closely with the technical team to ensure all products are compliant, and all required safety certificates are up to date
• Involvement with initiating improvements and processes to drive sustainability within the company
• Maintain and update product information onto the database
• Factory and trade show visits as required, including overseas

Experience required:

• Experience within a PD, production, buying, supply chain, or operations role
• Direct factory experience would be ideal but not essential
• Working knowledge of production critical paths including creation and project management
• Deadline driven with fantastic organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• Fantastic attention to detail and a great multi tasker
• Good Excel skills
