Purpose of the Role:
As a Production Engineer, you'll ensure manufacturing processes meet safety standards, achieve efficient production, and deliver top-quality results. Collaborating with the Production Management team, you'll refine processes, develop work instructions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support timely and high-quality production as a Production Engineer
- Maintain plant and resources for longevity and efficiency
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Implement lean philosophies for continuous improvement
- Provide technical support and mentorship
- Innovate and improve manufacturing processes
Skills / Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Production Engineer
- Experience in lean environments
- Ideally in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly
- Engineering or science-related degree/HNC/HND
- Proficient in problem-solving techniques (8D, PFMEA)
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Computer literate, especially in Excel
- Previous CNC and programming experience preferred
- CAD experience advantageous but not essential
