Production Line Operator

Here at Bottled and Canned Ltd we pack drinks into bottles and cans. We blend and pack wines, ciders, cold coffee and tea, CBD drinks, Gin & Tonics, cocktails, matcha, sports drinks and kombucha.

We are seeking skilled Production Line Operators to work in our canning factory based in Heathfield Industrial Estate.

As a Line Operator you will be responsible for operating the Production Line and equipment. Your role will involve ensuring the efficient operation of the Production Line, troubleshooting any issues that arise and maintaining quality standards.

This role is very much a proactive role. The ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and with autonomy.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operate the Production Line machinery and equipment
• Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications
• Monitor the production process to ensure smooth operation and identify any potential issues
• Raise any concerns to the shift supervisor and/or the maintenance team
• Completing all production records
• Completing regular quality control checks
• General cleaning and maintaining an organised workspace
• Collaborate with team members to meet productions goals

We are a small and friendly team who all muck in to get the job done, helping each other along the way. It's a fast-paced operation and you'll never have to clock watch.

Full training and guidance will be provided.

This is a permanent, full-time role. We have three shifts available:

Morning shift - 6.00am – 2.00pm, Monday to Friday - £12.50 per hour

Afternoon shift - 2.00pm – 10.00pm, Monday to Friday - £12.50 per hour

Evening shift - 10.00pm – 6.00am, Sunday to Thursday - £12.50 per hour + £2 per hour for evening shift - (hours worked between midnight and 6.00am)

Overtime available across all shifts and at weekends during busy periods, paid at time and a quarter.

We offer 28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays).

You will be enrolled onto our pension scheme once you have successfully completed a 3-month probationary period.
