To support their ambitious, achievable growth and expansion plans our client is looking for a talented and ambitious Production Manager.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading and mentoring teams in a manufacturing / production environment, who deliver consistently high standards of quality and H&S and, ultimately, customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of Production Manager
- Manage production operations, producing quality products to continuously meet customer and company requirements.
- Establishing effective working systems and production process improvements to ensure production targets are met.
- Motivate and support the team, promoting a positive working environment and teamwork throughout the department.
- Seek opportunities for improvement to procedures, systems, and functional activities.
- Manage employee and team performance.
- Ensure all operatives are skilled, educated, and compliant to company requirements.
- Lead and manage the team, having regular reviews and feedback.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure smooth running of the production.
The Ideal Candidate
- Extensive production management experience.
- Strong people managing skills and training.
- An excellent working knowledge of production management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
- Excellent time management, communication, and organisation skills.
- Experience in a similar role working to tight deadlines.
