Production Manager - Plastic Packaging Manufacturing - 40k + Bonus!
Salary: £40,000
Location: Stockton-on-Tees Tyne and Wear
Shift: Days
We are recruiting for a well - established manufacturer seeking for a dynamic Production Manager to join a a exciting and varied days based role for one of the UK's leading Food Manufacturing Companies. The Production Manager will be reporting directly to the General Manager, and overseeing a team of 4 shift managers and approximately 20-30 employees per shift, which includes temporary labor. oversees the production process and coordinates all activities to ensure enough resources on hand. They Production Manager will plan workers' schedules, estimate costs and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.
Skills Required:
- Leadership experience (minimum 3 years) in high-volume manufacturing.
- Qualification of ILM Level 3 or above.
Key responsibilities of the Production Manager
- The Production Manager will be overseeing Health and safety liasing with departments
- Getting involved in operational performance, strategy and development, amnage and monitor production KPI's, Financial management of production, focusiing on operational development,
- The Production Manager will ensure production are meeting all expectations, liase with HR, and oversee quality and Hygiene
- The Production will need a Production Manager who will be self driven, results oriendtated and the can do attitude, focused on delivering quality products.
- Familiarity with plastics manufacturing (preferred)
