Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
Working Hours/Shift: M-F Days

Key Skills for the Production Planner:

• Proven experience in a Production Control/Planning environment.
• Familiarity with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP).
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Planner:

• Understand Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Production Plan.
• Ensure available labour hours align with scheduled orders.
• Review Material Availabilities and communicate shortages to relevant departments.
• Release Work to Shop Floor and coordinate with Team Leaders, warehouses, suppliers, despatch, and sales/commercial teams.
• Monitor the execution of the production plan and address potential issues promptly.
• Analyze back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule production.
• Liaise with suppliers and supply chains to stay updated on events affecting supply.
• Develop and review production plans with Managers for approval.
• Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.
• Assist with outbound supply chain tasks related to production planning, covering holiday periods.
