Salary: Competitive
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 4 on 4 off rotational days and nights.

The role…

As the Production Shift Manager your role will involve the following important duties:

• Lead and manage the total production stream including people, machines, systems and processes.
• Provide cover for the Area Team manager during any absences.
• Ensure all targets and legislations are met.
• Ensure payroll is completed on time.
• Coordinate area maintenance activities.
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling all plan conditions.

The experience required…

As a successful Production Shift Manager you will have the following:

• Basic food hygiene and HACCP qualifications.
• Team leader with demonstrable experience managing a team within a manufacturing process environment. 
• Experience within a similar role previously.
• Experience working within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean Methodology.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel.
