Production Technician Bicester GBP25,000pa - GBP30,000pa plus bonus and benefits:MARS Recruitment is proud to have partnered a market leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical devices to recruit a skilled Production Technician. This business has steadily grown over the last 15 years and due to this growth, they are looking at recruiting a Production Technician into their team. The successful candidate will be joining a small team who manufacture and test a range of electro-mechanical and electrical devices.The role:On a day-to-day basis, the Production Technician will be building high tech devices. This is a final assembly role so the majority of the components have already been built and your role will be to put them together following clear engineering drawings. There will be soldering, fine wiring, mechanical assembly using hand tools, leak testing and more. So, if you like variety, this could be the Production Technician role for you.About you:The successful Production Technician will need to be an enthusiastic and self-motivated technician with excellent analytical and technical skills. You will also have a combination of the following: 2 years hands-on experience in a similar electro-mechanical, high tech, low volume role Electro-mechanical assembly and testing skills preferably with scientific instrumentation Skilled in the use of tools, equipment and testing equipment Excellent communicator, able to work with colleagues and peers Utilise best practice processes, techniques and continuous improvement methods as introduced A levels, BTEC l/II or HND / HNC Excellent electrical and mechanical understandingOur client is offering an excellent salary of up to GBP30,000pa plus a yearly bonus, pension, flexible working, and an early finish Friday.
