The Production Technician's role is to work in the coating department's cleaning, masking, demasking and touch in departments and the distribution department.
Working under the guidance of the department's Technician Supervisor and Production Manager, you will acquire the knowledge to work independently
Work practices and procedures must always be adhered to, and daily actions recorded on the job route card. Health and safety standards must be adhered to at all times and an understanding of the critical nature of the task, hazardous materials and the working environment is essential.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Responsibility for own and team's safety within a production environment.
Responsibility for efficient and effective production with minimum waste, achieving quality standards in line with the production schedule.
Processing of basic data, both written documentation and using computer workstations.
Responsibility for ensuring a hygienic work environment and the overall good housekeeping of the working environment.
Demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Team's code of conduct
Train and coach colleagues in areas of own expertise as required by the team leadership.
Other duties as reasonably requested by the team leadership.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
Ability to adapt to multiple tasks and change.
Good level of numeracy and literacy.
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of self-motivation and ability to work unsupervised.
Good knowledge of health and safety in respect of a factory environment and the associated work.
