SalaryWe are looking for an experienced Production Technician to join an established company based in Dorchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture and test of a variety of products and assist the production and development teams as necessary.
Responsibilities Include:
Production of Hydrophones & Transducers to required daily quantities according to work process.
Production of UWC probes to required daily quantities according to work process.
Quality checking of both own work and others to ensure quality of product produced is to the required standard.
Responsible for own workspace and area to ensure it is maintained in a clean and acceptable standard.
Record processes and completion of works orders accurately.
Raise any production difficulties or issues in a timely manner.
Working towards deadlines and targets.
ISO; working to ISO standards and procedures. Completion of any necessary internal audits.
Working to Health & Safety standards.
Skills & Experience
Good attention to detail and good organisation skills.
Able to work under own initiative within a quality system.
Experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
An understanding of electronics and principles of electrical assembly.
Soldering of components desirable.
Demonstrable ability to use a selection of hand tools.
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Salary
GBP22-25K per year
