Warwickshire Adult and Community Learning provides a diverse range of learning opportunities to adults across the county. We are a dynamic and forward-looking service, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
We are seeking someone to lead and manage a team of established and sessional staff to deliver and further develop our curriculum offer, which currently includes life skills, visual and performing arts and preparation for work. As well as tutors, the postholder will manage the service’s small team of Learning Support Assistants.
As a member of the service’s Wider Leadership Team, you will support the Service Manager and Team Manager in achieving our organisational vision and core aims, delivery plans and outcomes within a balanced budget.
The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher of Adults with an understanding of the adult and community learning sector, excellent team management skills and a detailed knowledge of special educational needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The post may be based in Leamington Spa, Nuneaton or Rugby (by agreement) and entails travel across the county. The salary is: £19,593 – £20,709 pro rata
