Warwickshire Adult and Community Learning provides a diverse range of learning opportunities to adults across the county. We are a dynamic and forward-looking service, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

 

We are seeking someone to lead and manage a small, well-established and experienced team to deliver and further develop our targeted, inclusive course offer, designed to build the skills of parents and carers so they can better support their child’s learning and development at home. Working in partnership with schools, children and family centres and others, you will create and deliver programmes of learning to meet identified need.

 

As a member of the service’s Wider Leadership Team, you will support the Service Manager and Team Manager in achieving our organisational vision and core aims, delivery plans and outcomes within a balanced budget.

 

The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher with a good knowledge of the Primary and/or Early Years curriculum, with an understanding of the adult and community learning sector and excellent team management skills.

 

The post may be based in Leamington Spa, Nuneaton or Rugby (by agreement) and entails travel across the county. The salary is: £19,593 – £20,709 pro rata
