We are seeking a qualified project manager to support the Customer and Communities Directorate in the delivery of a number of the Council’s high-profile projects.
Working within the Strategic Services Team, you will be responsible for:
Development and management of a programme of projects including for example, the Future Libraries Investment programme.
The role is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work from home, West Offices and project sites.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager who is seeking the next step to managing a programme of projects within a supportive and inclusive team.
This role requires someone who is relationship driven and can work with multiple partners to seek solutions, identify joint benefits and drive outcomes.

As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level B1: Can exploit a wide range of simple language flexibly to express much of what he/she wants. Can keep going comprehensibly, even though pausing for grammatical land lexical planning and repair is very evident, especially in longer stretches of free production.
Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
