We are seeking a dedicated Programme Support Officer to join the Transformation Directorate at the London Fire Brigade on an interim 3-month basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of our programme’s objectives. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively assist in the planning and organisation of programme activities, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure the smooth operation of programme boards.
Day to Day of the role:- Assist in the development and review of programme documents, ensuring they are up-to-date.
- Plan, organise, and deliver programme meetings and workshops, including preparation and distribution of materials.
- Take minutes at meetings, circulate materials, and track the completion of actions.
- Lead the coordination of programme and project boards, including report packs preparation.
- Develop communication and engagement plans for programme stakeholders.
- Support the programme assurance process by compiling information for internal and external requests.
- Embed and apply PMO systems and processes within the programme.
- Experience in Programme Support or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in IT and communication systems, with adherence to data protection policies.
