Project Accountant - Accounts Payable

Forge Talent are working exclusively with a well know client who are based in South Manchester and are looking to recruit a Project Accountant on a temp basis for up to 3 Months within the Accounts Payable function. The Project Accountant role is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team in an established company and will be on a hybrid working model.
Your new role
The Project Accountant role will be based in South Manchester. The role will be a varied one and will include:

• Meticulous analysis of procedure within the Accounts Payable
• Reconciliation of historical supplier statements
• Scheduling and payment of supplier invoices & employee expenses
• Looking at historic balances
• Monitoring & reporting of copy invoices & debit notes
• Cleaning up ledgers
• Process improvements
• Unallocated cash
• Ledger Cleanse

• Worked in a similar role previously
• Form effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Be able to hit the ground running
• A supportive and flexible team worker.
• Strong organising and communication skills.
• Experience of working in a busy finance department.
• Be immediately available or on 1 week's notice
• Strong experience of MS Excel

Salary

The day rate for this Project Accountant role would be £250 per day outside IR35
