We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Project Accounts Assistant within our international organisation. This role is integral to supporting our financial operations, with a focus on day-to-day project finances and the monthly finance cycle. You will be part of a dedicated finance team and work closely with our Programmes Team to ensure smooth financial management across our client-funded programmes.
Day to Day of the role:- Manage consultant timesheet compliance and invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contracts and terms.
- Handle project expenses for consultants and suppliers, including logging, verification, and reconciliation against receipts.
- Process advance requests for travel, ensuring proper sign-off and reconciliation.
- Conduct reporting by uploading project finance data to Aidstream quarterly to maintain compliance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for consultants regarding invoice and payment queries.
- Review monthly timesheets, ensuring all are entered correctly and chasing any incomplete submissions.
- Provide backup and support to the Accountant as needed, including during periods of leave or high demand.
- Experience working within a finance team.

- International Development Experience.
- Experience working with a consultancy or NGO.
- Familiarity with Kimble and/or Sage.
