Project Administrator, Plymouth, £17.73 per hour – £34,225 per annum

The contract is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of being extended and the opportunity to apply for permanent roles within the business. This is a foot in the door with a large organisation where there are lots of opportunities.
The Project Administrator is Accountable to the PMO Team Manager. You will be working within the IT & Digital Portfolio PMO Intake & Planning team, responsible for providing admin services for all Project Management processes, services, tools and data across the NGED IT Projects, Programmes & Portfolios to support the delivery of core PMO functions and services.
The PMO Administrator is responsible for clerical & admin support to PMO & IT Team Managers with core PMO functions and services including, but not limited to :
- project planning and scheduling
- budget sanctioning and controls
- demand management
- resource management
- project governance
- project reporting
- project assurance
- future road mapping
- Provide the successful delivery of the PMO Service Desk services and associated requests
- Monitor and respond accordingly to the PMO mailbox and telephone enquiries and queries
- Work with the PMO Analysts, drafting or reviewing as needed, the project documentation and artefacts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with managing document controls, including project documentation storage, version control and reviews to ensure adherence & relevance across the company
The Project Administrator will assist the PMO Team to provide additional admin services for :
- IT training, tools, recruitment and resource on-boarding needs
- Project & Cloud financial and budget reporting
- IT Tool and process evaluation
- IT’s EAM Solution
- IT Business Operations
- Identify and resolve both routine and non-routine problems within own level of competence
- Have an understanding of business needs and the Company’s objectives and their contribution to the strategic objectives
- Working without direct supervision to identify PMO admin processes, services & tools for continual improvement & alignment to industry best practice
- Train and coach other staff in both PMO and administrative processes & tools
