Description:
This role is pivotal in supporting the SEO to develop and implement robust change management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and execute activities to establish fully operational SPS Facilities.
- Collaborate with key user groups to define and implement a Go-Live plan for port readiness.
- Implement process improvements throughout the trader journey.
- Lead stakeholder engagement by chairing meetings and working groups.
- Support key user groups through the transition process.
- Develop transition and customer handover plans through engagement with the project team and stakeholders.
- Provide advice on changing processes through awareness sessions and written briefing updates.
- Coordinate and develop relevant training plans for site users in collaboration with business areas.
Experience:
- Project Management/Change Management experience is essential.
- Experience supporting colleagues and stakeholders through significant change/transition.
- A formal change management certification is beneficial but not essential.
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to motivate and manage staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in preparing project documentation and delivering presentations.
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute positively to team success.
- One or more related qualifications such as PRINCE2 is preferred but not essential.
Additional Requirements:
As the role involves travel on official duty, the successful candidate must have access to transportation enabling them to fulfil responsibilities, including travel to remote and rural locations in Northern Ireland. Travel to Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland may also be required.
