Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: Up to £600 per day
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the OSS Criminal Exhibit Change Programme tactical projects.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and progress reporting, develop consistent standards, and ensure the successful delivery of various work streams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage tactical projects within the Criminal Exhibit Change Programme.


• Provide comprehensive project management, including risk, issue, assumption, and dependency monitoring.


• Track and report on benefits and budgets, escalating issues when necessary.


• Deliver accurate information to senior decision-makers to facilitate timely and effective decision-making.


• Develop and implement robust governance and project management arrangements.


• Utilise project management tools for planning, risk and issue management, benefit management, reporting, and governance.


• Support Project Leads in defining project objectives, timelines, resources, budgets, and completion criteria.


• Monitor cross-project dependencies and support the wider Portfolio.

• Ensure effective transition of solutions to business as usual and conduct post-project reviews.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Expertise in complex project environments with various planning, control, and governance tools.

• Deep understanding of organisational operations and barriers to change.


• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as document sharing/storage systems.


• Strong data analysis skills for data-driven decision-making and performance management.


• Ability to work flexibly and independently on a range of project assignments.


• Highly developed project management skills, with the ability to deliver at pace and to deadlines.


• Confidence in challenging current practices and developing new ideas, solutions, and business cases.


• Proven experience in managing risks, implementing solutions, and engaging with stakeholders.

• Systematic with attention to detail and effective communication of complex project information.

Experience:

• Experience working in a large, complex organisation.

• Experience in a Portfolio Management environment, coordinating small to medium complexity projects.


• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and provide challenge when required.


• Line management experience, overseeing at least 1-2 employees to deliver complex programmes of work.
