Project ManagerDegree Apprenticeship Within Product Strategy
Apprenticeship Programme
You will be working towards a level 6 Project Manager Degree, whilst developing your skills and knowledge with on-the-job training and experiences. You will have the opportunity to spend 20% of your week learning with an external training provider working towards an externally recognised qualification. The following 80% of your time will be based at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, you’ll work alongside industry-leading experts gaining practical knowledge of what you are studying, take part in corporate social responsibility initiatives and grow your networks, equipping you with personal and professional training and development to accelerate your career.
About Product Strategy
Product Strategy & Delivery are the function responsible for developing the future portfolio of vehicles and services and driving their delivery through to Market Entry. Programme Management within this team comprises both the Product Delivery Governance and the centralised Project Management component of the delivery teams. This role exposes you to all aspects of the vehicle programme delivery lifecycle. You will find yourself working within:
Product Strategy & Delivery
Within the Product Strategy and Delivery department you will experience the development of product premises, business cycle plans, portfolio planning, corporate innovation, and product development programmes, plus much more. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of timing plans and schedules associated to vehicle programmes
- Develop and apply a modern understanding of project management principles through part-time study in a project management field
- Support module teams who are responsible for the analysis of system development, time and cost
- Problem solving and responding to internal and external issues
About you
It would be advantageous to have demonstrable experience of team working skills, acquired through part time work or extracurricular activities. In addition to an interest in managing projects and a continuous improvement mind-set. The successful candidate will:
