Our Water South team work on both water engineering and wider water management projects to find solutions for our water clients that address their current and future issues to ensure they can service their customers.
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Project Managerto join our growing Water South team, managing the delivery of detailed designs and specifications, primarily for wastewater schemes. We have a varied project workload and strong pipeline of work with opportunities to manage large, highly complex schemes or multiple small schemes within a programme of work.
Well work with you to develop your expertise so that you can become a real Difference Maker and develop sustainable and innovative solutions. Youll work across a wide range of clients including water companies, contractors, and local authorities such as Wessex Water, Welsh Water & Yorkshire Water.
We are looking for individuals who can challenge conventional thinking and work collaboratively to meet a wide range of business, environment and regulatory challenges for these clients. The role offers an opportunity for successful candidates to broaden and diversify their expertise.
What were looking for from you:
- An Engineering related degree (or equivalent).
- A recognised project management qualification.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution and working to or have achieved professional recognition.
- The ability to work with engineers from all disciplines and other industry professionals to optimise and develop bespoke and innovative designs.
- Experience in managing the delivery of water designs and specifications on water related projects for water companies, contractors and industry.
- An appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes and health and safety legislation.
- Excellent relationship building skills and enjoy working closely with clients, architects and other members of the professional team and playing a pivotal role in establishing the brief and developing solutions that meet and exceed our client's expectations.
- The confidence to undertake business development activity, client management and be commercially astute securing new and repeat business.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to suit your audience.
