Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to join Wakefield Council’s Facilities Management and Health and Safety Service on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Programme Manager by providing technical and administrative support to key areas of work
- Developing project processes and documentation
- Managing the teams shared inbox
- Placing orders on the Council’s financial system ‘agresso’
- Minuting project meetings
- Managing documentation and word processing
- Manipulating data using the full Microsoft suite of software
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working as a Project Support Officer, ideally within a Local Authority
- Awareness of Project Management principles and practises
- Minute taking experience
- Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing workloads in a fast paced environment
