Project Support Officer

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to join Wakefield Council’s Facilities Management and Health and Safety Service on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Programme Manager by providing technical and administrative support to key areas of work
• Developing project processes and documentation
• Managing the teams shared inbox
• Placing orders on the Council’s financial system ‘agresso’
• Minuting project meetings
• Managing documentation and word processing
• Manipulating data using the full Microsoft suite of software

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working as a Project Support Officer, ideally within a Local Authority
• Awareness of Project Management principles and practises
• Minute taking experience
• Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing workloads in a fast paced environment
