Project Support Officer

Job description

• *We are looking to appoint a reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and competent Project Support Officer to join our dynamic and developing Directorate for Catholic Mission at our University.

The key duties included within the role will include providing day-to-day support to the Director for Catholic Mission, administration of major projects, conferences, CPD for schools as well as promotion of the values and mission of the University in a way that is sensitive, scholarly-informed and respectful of diversity. The role will be mainly administrative but will also involve minute taking, engagement with stakeholder groups locally, nationally and internationally regarding the University’s mission and identity.

You will also be required to prepare agendas and confirm previous minutes for meetings along with managing the schedule for the Director of Catholic Mission on a daily basis, responding to requests for meetings, talks, and external engagements as well as communicating with key stakeholders.

Applicants should have a good basic education to GCSE standard or equivalent, to include Maths and English. Proven administrative experience is essential as is experience of Microsoft Edge, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point. Digital skills and innovative marketing strategies for promotion of key events are also an advantage. Relevant experience in the Education sector, and a working knowledge of CST are required. A basic knowledge of working in a fast-paced environment whilst being sensitive of the need to respect and to embody the University’s values and mission at all times are essential. Organisational skills, good interpersonal, communication skills and a solid understanding of, and commitment to, the mission of Leeds Trinity and why it matters today are requirements of the role.

This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds with occasional work at the City Campus as required. Through our agile working framework, there may also be the option to spend some time working remotely to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
