About the Role
At Reigate & Banstead Borough Council we are proud of our reputation as a well run and ambitious Council. We are now looking for a new Projects & Performance Team Leader to drive the successful delivery, oversight and assurance of strategic projects, corporate performance and risk.
Leading a small, dedicated team, you will provide leadership and co-ordinated support for corporate programmes and projects, as well as overseeing performance and risk management and reporting.
This role offers a rare chance to apply your project management and improvement skills, and experience of problem solving and relationship building, across the breadth of services that the Council delivers. It provides the opportunity for professional growth, innovation and strategic thinking – not only contributing to the continued financial sustainability of the Council, but ultimately ensuring we can continue making a positive difference to the communities and residents that we serve.

About the Person
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects within time, scope and budget
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and implement performance enhancement initiatives
- Experience of risk identification and risk management processes
- Excellent communication skills and team management capabilities
