About Us
The North York Moors National Park Authority looks after and promotes one of the most phenomenal parts of the British Isles. We are now seeking a Property Manager to join our team on a full-time basis for a three year fixed term contract.

This is an incredible opportunity for a RICS or RIBA (or similar) qualified project manager with knowledge of building design, construction, repair and maintenance techniques to join us as we embark on a number of exciting property projects.
We have bought a piece of land in Helmsley to build a new HQ and Ranger Depot. You’ll be working with our architects to help develop the plans and work alongside project contractors on the build. We are also looking to undertake refurbishment work at several of our other major property assets over the next three years as well, so there is plenty for you to get stuck into. All of this will contribute positively to our landscape rich in heritage and highly valued for its beauty and tranquillity.

The Role
As a Property Manager, you will manage and co-ordinate a range of construction-related projects.
Managing projects from set-up through to completion, you will prepare tender briefs, then manage contracts through to completion and handover.
You will make sure that all our properties are fit for purpose and their asset value is preserved. This will include preparing annual management plans for maintenance and improvement.
Additionally, you will:
- Organise a property strategy which aims to set out a strategic vision for our properties
- Prepare our property portfolio to be carbon neutral or better by 2030
About You
To be considered as a Property Manager, you will need:
- Experience of project management, including delivering significant building projects
- Experience of the procurement and development of relevant contracts
- Experience and knowledge of budgetary and financial control
- Knowledge of building design, construction, repair and maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including CDM, DDA and H&S
- A relevant professional membership, i.e. RIBA, MRICS, etc.
