We are looking for aProperty Operations Manager to join the Repairs and Maintenance department. As a Property Operations Manageryou will be responsible for the coordination, management and planning of comprehensive building maintenance and repair services to the housing stock based around cost effective customer focused VFM service, taking into account company targets and obligations.

Outline of Key responsibilities for a Property Operations Manager
- To lead the business support and planning functions of the Repairs & Maintenance and Mechanical & Electrical services in an efficient and expedient manner achieving Value for Money.
- To monitor existing, develop and implement new customer focused procedures to achieve excellent benchmarked performance.
- To ensure that all KPI's relating to repairs and maintenance are achieved.
- To be accountable for budgets in relation to the Repairs and Maintenance sections.
- Work with Property Managers, to assess and promote processes that continually explore and challenge methods of improvement and enhance the department's ability to improve performance and value for money.
- Co-ordinate complaint and resolution management across Together Housing Association repairs departments, to ensure the delivery of a high quality, customer focused service
- To oversee the effective and efficient planning of all day to day, gas servicing, EICR, capital improvements, minor works, DMC, and empty homes related activity.
- To liaise and support with Housing Management, Customer Contact, Asset Management, Resident Involvement and Performance & Business Improvement Teams.
- To identify training and implement improvements to the requirements of best practice and operational improvement plans.
We are looking for someone who has...
- Full Driving Licence with insurance for business use
- Relevant experience of working in a building or maintenance organisation\department
- Recognised leadership and management qualification L3 or equivalent.
- Evidence of continual personal development
- Experience of people management including dealing with disciplinary issues, performance management of staff relating to productivity, identifying training and development needs
- Budget awareness and monitoring

- Salary of £42,889 per annum
