Insight Executive Group are delighted to be working with Oxford University Hospital Trust who are looking to recruit a Property Solicitor on a full-time permanent contract with a starting salary of up to GBP57k.
The purpose of this role is to provide legal advice and/or facilitate obtaining legal advice from external suppliers which enables colleagues across the Trust to make timely informed decisions, meet corporate objectives and minimise the risk exposure of the business in respect of major programmes as well as business as usual.
The Solicitor reports to and supports the Head of Property and Space in the provision of legal advice across all business functions to support the Trust's and individual team objectives, with a particular focus on property management, construction and PFI projects, and procurement.
The successful Property Solicitor will be responsible for:
- supporting the Head of Property and Space with the provision of transactional property advice such as drafting and completing leases, licences and other forms of property documentation, letters and notices
- enabling the internal customer to make informed decisions by the provision of accurate and timely legal advice and drafting, and supporting with obtaining legal advice from external legal suppliers where necessary
- enabling collaboration across functions through teamwork and sharing of knowledge
- supporting the Head of Property and Space with provision of legal advice and preparation of legal documents relating to transactional property matters on major programmes and business as usual
The successful Property Solicitor will be able to demonstrate:
- minimum 5 years' experience in a property management or estate role
- experience working in-house and providing legal advice regarding a property portfolio
- experience and/or training in property law and construction law
- understanding and drafting knowledge of standard property contractual documents including leases,
