MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with Translink for an exciting new permanent opportunity based in Belfast for an experienced Protection & Assurance Co-Ordinator.
About the role
Responsible for undertaking SH&E advisory services for all inspection, maintenance, refurbishment, and renewals projects undertaken by the Property, Structures, P’Way, S&T, Renewals and Major Projects deps through a programme of Safety Inspections and Support Visits. The postholder will support the Management Team in carrying out their functions in relation to technical, safety and competence management. In addition, continuously drive safety improvements in arrangements for the planning and protection of engineering works on or about the railway.
Essential Criteria
- HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a complex organisation in a SHE advisory or safety critical role OR Possess a NEBOSH National General Certificate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a complex organisation in a SHE advisory or safety critical role.
- Experience of safety processes, safety management systems and competence management systems
- Experience of using MS Office packages including Word and Excel and ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Able to work frequently at nights and weekends as required.
- A Full current Driving License
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of successfully influencing staff at all levels within an organisation
