*** £70 - £80 per day
*** March 2024 – July 2024
*** ‘Good’ primary school, Central Birmingham
*** Working on a 1:1 and small group basis with children with Autism
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support the learning and development of primary school children. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils, assisting in their academic progress.
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.
Observing and assessing pupils' behaviour, emotional well-being, and academic performance.
Collaborating with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Contributing to the planning and implementation of individualized learning strategies for pupils with additional needs.
Helping to create and maintain educational resources.
Engaging with parents/guardians to provide feedback on pupils' progress.

Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
Passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
