Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in North Leeds (LS17) area as they look to recruit an experienced Part Time Payroll Manager into their team (22.5 hours).
Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of all payrolls run by the business ensuring accuracy is kept to a high standard
- Liaising with the operations team to resolve any issues that may arise
- Support in the sourcing and maintenance of applicable licenses needed by the business to operate payrolls across the globe.
- Ensure all reporting requirements are met (such as HMRC intermediatory reports)
- Approve invoices for independent contractors.
- Produce business reports required by the senior management team
- Produce several smaller payrolls
- Manage the payroll team ensure continued development of staff
- Implement and update new procedures when required
Person Specification:
- Team player
- Previous payroll experience
- Strong line management skills
- Positive ability to influence
- Excellent written and verbal communicator
- Very structured approach to working
- At least 1 years experience in a similar role
- CIPP Qualification (Desireable)
This is a permanent role, with salary up to £34.5k per annum (full time equivalent), with flexibility on how the 22.5 hours is worked throughout the week.
