About the Role:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Purchase Ledger records, ensuring invoices and payments are processed promptly and accurately.
- Reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end procedures, including preparing accruals and prepayments, and supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address queries and resolve issues effectively.
- Contribute to process improvements within the Purchase Ledger function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role within finance, ideally with exposure to Purchase Ledger processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with suppliers and internal teams professionally.
- Proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
