Salary: Up to 24,000 (DOE)
An exciting opportunity to join a well-established company based in Kirkby in Ashfield as a Purchase Ledger Clerk has become available. Reporting into the FC, the ideal candidate will have relevant UK experience and showcase enthusiasm. This will be a permanent fulltime opportunity.
Duties:
- Processing around 3000 invoices per month
- Logging, matching, and processing invoices and delivery tickets onto system
- Working towards monthly deadlines
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Chasing any missing invoices
- Answering calls to suppliers and advising on balance
- Sending out remittances
- Input and use of new paperless system
- Requesting signatures for invoices from relevant invoices to be posted to the ledger before end of month procedures
- Ensuring invoices are posted on the ledger before payments are due
- CIS tax invoices
- Daily use of spreadsheets and data inputting
- Maintaining an efficient filing system
