DCS Recruitment is a leading provider of temporary and permanent recruitment solutions. We are looking to hire an experienced Purchase Ledger assistant on an initial 6-month contract to be based from our Manchester City Centre office.
This role will assist the senior finance team with ensuring the company's accounts are accurate the produced in a timely manner, adhering to company accounting processes, procedures and policies.
The role responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Supporting DCS Recruitments accounts + the accounts of other businesses within DCS Group
- Processing purchase invoices
- Processing credit notes
- Requesting credit notes where required
- Ensuring all invoices posted accurately to Sage in a timely manner
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Identifying and filing prepayment invoices
- Posting bank transactions to Sage
- Making debit card payments
- Ad hoc administration
Experience required:
- Previous Purchase Ledger experience or experience as an accounts assistant
- Experience of Sage 50 would be desirable
- Able to work in a small team
- Demonstrable team player
- Strong administrative skills
