I am currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a growing and successful organisation based in Warrington. This is a fast-paced role where the successful candidate will be required to manage a high volume of invoices daily, processing through Invoice Data Capture and Automatic Purchase Order Matching Systems.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Capture Verification
- Processing Purchase Order matching exceptions
- Supplier invoice query resolution using in-house intranet based system
- Dealing with internal customer/supplier phone calls and email queries
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
Desirable skills and experience
- Previous experience in a similar role (at least 2 years in a high volume Purchase Ledger department)
- PC Literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player
- Ability to demonstrate excellent administrative/organisational abilities
- Able to work on own initiative
- Confident and possess excellent communication skills
