Thorn Baker are working with a busy manufacturing company based in Leicester to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk for their expanding team
This is a permanent job opportunity
Job Role:
To support the finance department to meet deadlines and to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manager
- Salary is £25,000
- Full Time role - working 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
- Processing supplied invoices (three way matching)
- Allocating payments
- Dealing with supplier & purchase order queries
- Processing payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Reviewing GRNI's
- Resolving supplier queries
- Processing ad hoc payments
- Entering non AP and AR receipts and payments
- There will be other non Purchase Ledger tasks and duties required at times
The type of person we're looking for:
- Experience in a previous Purchase Ledger role
- Previous payroll experience is preferable
- Have good attention to detail
- Efficient and accurate
- Good communication skills
- Good time management
- Self-starter
