Purchase Ledger Clerk

Thorn Baker are working with a busy manufacturing company based in Leicester to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk for their expanding team

This is a permanent job opportunity

Job Role:

To support the finance department to meet deadlines and to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manager

• Salary is £25,000
• Full Time role - working 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
• Processing supplied invoices (three way matching)
• Allocating payments
• Dealing with supplier & purchase order queries
• Processing payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Reviewing GRNI's
• Resolving supplier queries
• Processing ad hoc payments
• Entering non AP and AR receipts and payments
• There will be other non Purchase Ledger tasks and duties required at times

The type of person we're looking for:

• Experience in a previous Purchase Ledger role
• Previous payroll experience is preferable
• Have good attention to detail
• Efficient and accurate
• Good communication skills
• Good time management
• Self-starter
