Job Title:Purchase Ledger Controller

Location: Rickmansworth

Rate: £22ph - £24ph paid on a weekly basis

Contract Details: 1 year Long Term Temporary role, Full Time 9am - 5pm 1 hour lunch. Hybrid once trained.

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Controller on behalf of our client, a leading Financial Services company. Their dedicated team is looking for an individual who can effectively handle all Accounts Payable operations and ensure the accurate loading of Supplier Invoices.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the end-to-end Purchase Ledger process, including invoice entry, coding, and approval
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Performing regular supplier payment runs and ensuring timely payments
• Investigating and resolving any purchase order, invoice, or payment queries
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with Month-End processes and producing relevant reports
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing necessary changes
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Providing support and guidance to the wider finance team when required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role, handling high volumes of invoices
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
