SalaryA growing business based in York is currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join their experienced team of finance. This role will require the candidate to hit the ground running in a managerial and practical sense.
The candidate's responsibilities include:
As the Purchase Ledger Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of Purchase Ledger clerks, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and timely, and that supplier queries are resolved efficiently.
Calculating VAT payments.
Managing petty cash.
Accurate data entry.
Processing staff expenses.
Communicating with externals vendors and suppliers.
Month-end reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems.
Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A record of developing teams and taking responsibility for KPI.
