Vickerstock are working in partnership with a specialist fit out firm on the appointment of a Junior Buyer.
All training will be provided to develop your skills & knowledge with the goal of progressing to Senior Buyer within the Purchasing team.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone wanting to progress their career in procurement.
In your new role:
Assist with the sourcing and procurement of materials and services
Assist with the processing of requisitions and purchase orders
Ensure all materials are on site and on time
Complete all tasks in compliance with the Company's Quality Management System
Work diligently towards developing the skills, knowledge and expertise to progress within the department
Ensure the purchasing IT system is maintained with accurate data to produce meaningful reports and information
General admin duties including Running Reports, Requisition & PO processing, Invoice Query resolution
What you will need to succeed:
A minimum of 1 year working within a purchasing department (manufacturing or construction)
Experience in using ERP/MRP systems
