VANRATH are thrilled to be assisting one of our major clients in Creagh with the recruitment of a Assistant Buyer to join their expanding team.
This role will be based in the Creagh - Toomebridge.
This is a Monday - Friday. Permanent opportunity.
Salary - £30,000
Roles and Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate best buying prices
- Work to within specified lead times
- Organise supplier rebates
- Raise purchase orders
- Receipt incoming goods
- Complete three way match process
- Responsibility for stock take on 3 sites
- Responsible for MRP system
- Process internal requisitions
- Procurement of materials from BOM
Essential Criteria:
- Experience within a construction environment
- Experience working with an MRP system
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel
- Excellent organisational skills
- Work well on own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Sage 200 experience
