We have partnered with a market leading electronics manufacturer in Sandy, who with a full order book are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager who can lead the procurement function. If you have experience of the electronics industry and understand engineering processes and practices then I would be keen to hear from you!
Responsibilities
* Head up the procurement/stores functions in the business to ensure consistent flow of material to meet growing production demands
* Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure cost effectiveness and best terms to benefit the business
* Manage the team to ensure all members are carrying out procurement responsibilities
About you
* Atleast 5 years experience in a procurement/electronics role
* Strong people management and have managed successful procurement teams in the past
* Strong technical aptitude and understanding of the electronics market
* CIPS would be an advantage
* Ability to read and source from technical drawings/BOMs
